Critical Thinking

Critical Thinking

Critical thinking is a vital skill which allows students to both examine and construct arguments. Critical thinking skills are used subconsciously when reading a newspaper article, discussing with friends or writing an essay. These skills reveal strong arguments, decide what counts as evidence and allows opinions to form. A formal understanding of these skills allows individuals to excel inside and outside the classroom whenever complicated topics are encountered.

Why join OCSEP Critical Thinking?
The ability to think critically is of vital importance in Western universities, no matter which subject is being pursued. During the OCSEP Critical Thinking course, students will be trained to ask the what, how and why questions that are needed in higher education and skilled employment. By the end of the course students will have improved abilities to think 'outside the box' and tackle even the most complicated topics.

If you represent a school or are an interested student please email eca@ocsep.com for further information.
