Oxbridge Kids Exploration Camp

Overview:
Oxford and Cambridge are among the world's oldest and most prestigious universities; they are also two of the most beautiful towns in the UK, and this camp is an excellent way for students to improve their English while enjoying magnificent surroundings and the best of British culture. Mornings are spent studying English and afternoons consist of sightseeing activities. In addition, a range of social activities in the evening ensure that the trip is enjoyable for the students and staying with an English family will give them first-hand experience of British life and culture as well as a chance to practice the language. All in all this is an excellent package which will improve students' English and give them a rich store of new experiences and memories

Sightseeing
Most of the trip will be spent in the beautiful university town of Oxford, famous for its historic colleges and churches. The students will be shown around these famous buildings and sightseeing trips will be varied, including the chance to sample chocolate at the Cadbury factory as well as look at the historic artifacts in the Ashmolean Museum. Trips will also encompass areas of natural beauty such as Port Meadow and the Cotswolds and students will have the chance to punt on the River Cherwell. One day will also be spent in Cambridge, which is equally picturesque and includes famous sights such as King's College Chapel. The students will also spend two days in the great city of London; sights there include Westminster Abbey (which hosted the royal wedding in 2011), the world-famous National Gallery and British Museum, and important places such as the Houses of Parliament and the Bank of England. Last but not least, there will be a chance to shop from the designer stores in Bicester Village!

Arrive into LHR , met upon arrival and taken on a coach to Oxford for a brief arival ceremony before meeting the families who students will be staying with.
A tour of Oxford, introducing you to the city of learning  and its many famous landmarks
A treasure hunt around Oxford: race around the streets of the dreaming spires to find the prize!
Punting on the idyllic  River Cherwell: a form of boating enjoyed by Oxford students for centuries
A visit to Cotswold wildlife park, an opportunity to

The first of two day trips to London. This trip takes in the famous sites including: Westminster Abbey,Buckingham Palace, China Town, The National Gallery and UK Parliament

A trip to the famous Cadbury chocolate factory, the biggest and most popular brand in the UK. A chance to learn how chocolate is made as well as sampling the delicious produce.
